Meet Dr Heather Oesterheld (Dentist)
Dr Heather graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine from The University of Sydney in 2020. Since graduating, she has enjoyed working in private practices across regional NSW, including Muswellbrook, Scone, and Cessnock, gaining broad experience in general dentistry.
Heather enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to providing gentle, thoughtful care tailored to each patient’s needs. She places a strong focus on patient comfort and clear communication, helping patients feel informed, confident, and at ease throughout their dental care.
Caring Dentistry With a Teaching Background
Alongside her work in private practice, Heather is also involved in teaching dentistry at university. She finds this role incredibly rewarding and values staying up to date with current techniques and evidence-based care, which she brings into her everyday clinical practice.
Life in Newcastle
Originally from Sydney, Heather and her husband moved to Newcastle around four years ago and quickly fell in love with the lifestyle. Outside the clinic, she enjoys running, swimming, and exploring Newcastle’s coffee scene.
